As you can tell by the long title, today I decided to recreate Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Julianne Hough and Jennifer Lopez's beautiful dresses. I have grown up watching and listening to these females and I admire them so much! Plus, I wanted to pick celebs that everyone is familiar with. 

Honestly, I have struggled with finding my specific aesthetic. My style has consistently been a combination of many trends. I wanted to show outfits I love and would wear with inspiration from these dresses and urban fashion. (Which is the absolute best in my opinion.) Sneakers and a little bit of edge are involved in most urban outfits. Think of clothing that people wear in big cities such as Chicago and NYC. Street style, if you will. 

I wanted to keep these outfits simple for this blog and display how easy it can be to style yourself at home. I like to give others insight and ideas to help them feel more confident about what they are wearing. You can always get amazing outfit inspo from celebrity men and women. Taylor Swift IHeartRadio Festival 2012 Red Dress:

Wowza! I have had this lace bodysuit in my closet for quite some time now and never really attempted to wear it because I had gained weight since having a baby and this is very {spicy.} To tone down this lingerie, I paired it with high-waisted navy blue ankle-length trousers, a white belt, a lovely floral backpack and Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. This is such a vibe. Possibly my favorite dress flip of the four!






Jennifer Lopez NBCUniversal's Summer Press Day 2018 White Dress:

Turtlenecks are back and better than ever, my loves! I styled my white one with some front and back distressed jeans, a beige snakeskin belt and Fila Ray Tracer sneakers. I definitely am feeling this fit! The belt adds a little femininity and pulls the look together. You can also wear a couple stacking necklaces to lay against the white top if you recreate this. J Lo for the win!






Kim Kardashian MTV Video Music Awards 2016 Black Dress:

Kim K is a fashion icon, no doubt about it. I saw her wearing this four years ago and I fell in love with it! I bought this mesh blouse about six months ago and figured it would be perfect for today's blog. I chose to style it with a black denim mini skirt, a black elastic belt, a crossbody Coach purse and Puma Basket Heart Ribbon Glitz sneakers. Saving this in my look book.





Julianne Hough Spotify's Best New Artist Party 2019 Pink dress:

Red and pink are extremely bold colors to wear together, but I could not pass up flipping this dress! I paired high-waisted light wash jeans with a pink cutout bow tank, a red hairband around my wrist and   Vans Checkered sneakers. This outfit would look great with a jacket or cardigan. It was warm outside today so I kept it cute and simple! I cuffed my jeans to show some ankle and wanted to incorporate the color red with my wrist bow, just not too much. Subtle yet a slightly daring combo. I like it!

Health Check In {Autumn 2020}

 Hello everyone, happy Wednesday. I hope you are doing great. This week I want to take a break from fashion, makeup, etc and talk about health. Mental and physical! Right now, during this global pandemic, it is really hard to feel motivated and happy. That is okay and completely understandable but we still have to nurture and improve our minds and bodies by taking supplements, working out and more.  I love to go on jogs with my daughter and do yoga as well when I have extra time. I created a list of exercises to tone and build three sections of muscles: legs, abs and booty. These are basic exercises that anyone can do! You can pick and choose what you like, do them inside or outside, only use one section, use this list once a week, etc. Please do whatever works for you personally! My Ways To Get Well Mentally It is normal to feel emotional once in a while, but do you often find yourself stuck in a constant cycle of sadness/anger? I do!
