My Skincare Routine

Glow Baby, Glow!

Trying to find the best routine and most effective products for your skin can be time consuming and costly. I feel like I have used just about every item that Target and CVS sells for breakouts! The last 6 months have been even worse for me since having a baby causes lots of hormonal issues. I've been searching for the best modus operandi and finally feel confident enough with one to share. My skin has never been better!

Before makeup, I always use the Neutrogena oil-Free Acne Moisturizer. It is scented like grapefruit and hydrates + contains salicylic acid to control acne. Very lightweight and does not clog pores! My must have if you wear medium to full coverage foundation frequently. Buy it here: Pink Grapefruit Moisturizer

I recently subscribed to the amazing Ipsy for a year and received Dr. Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil. I've been using it for two months and have noticed a drastic change in my face! It has brightened dark spots, controlled grease, and evened my tone out. This is a truly amazing oil and all natural. No matter if you have dry, oily, or combination skin, this product will work wonders for you. After my sample size runs out, I will definitely be buying more. I also mix in a few drops of vitamin c for an extra boost!

St. Ives has always been such a great skincare brand. My all time favorite is the Radiant Skin Pink Lemon & Mandarin face scrub. It's not too harsh on the face and helps clear up irritating acne. I do not use this every day because most of the time I have pretty dry skin, but I do use it about three times a week to help my skin glow. And yes, pink lemons are a real thing!

Bed time routine is very important. Cleansing your skin after wearing makeup (or not) helps get rid of bacteria and oils from the day. My go to is the makeup wipes & Tres Leche Skin Care System by Maskcara Beauty. Made with natural milk components, these three products are perfect for sensitive and dry skin. First, I clean my face with a wipe and use the cleanser. I personally do not like foamy or thick cleaners and this formula is super lightweight and smooth! Next step is the spray toner. This is amazing at night to even skin and during the day if you need a little refreshing, dewy glow. I use this after I shave as well to help razor bumps! Final step is the creme: My holy grail. The consistency is just right and leaves my face and neck hydrated. Not only does the creme reduce lines/wrinkles, it contains vitamins to keep your skin healthy and plump. One of my beautiful sisters, Nicole, introduced me to this system and it has changed my life! Order from her party link below.

Once a week, I use the Deep Pore Black Carbon. Using masks more than twice a week can cause redness and irritation. This mask has cleared my blackheads for months now! I let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes and then gently rinse with warm water. Afterwards, I apply moisturizer.

I hope you enjoyed this short article on my skincare routine! Please contact me with any questions and don't forget to subscribe with your email, babes! xo.
